Still trying to lose the baby weight?

Are you still trying to lose the baby weight? Well I sure am! Ryan is 3 and I'm ready for the weight to go!! Yes, I am being brave and going to start a diet during the holidays. I'm going a little more drastic and going for a new eating makeover. I just want to eat, be, and feel healthy for my son and myself. I am going on the HCG diet. Here is some information about the diet that I am doing. http://hcgdietinfo.com/ Here's a quick run down of the diet. I am doing HCG drops that I purchased at the local health food store. There are three phases to the diet. Phase 1, Administer the drops according to the bottle. Drink 1/2-1 gallon of water per day. Gorge yourself, eat as much as your stomach can handle. Fatty, sugary, startchy, yummy foods. Be in a constant state of stuffed for two days. Have midnight snacks if you can. I have been doing this for the past two days. Here comes the hard part! Phase 2, Day 3-21  Keep taking the HCG drops. Continue drinking the same abounts of water and follow the eating plan as discussed on the website I posted above. You will only be consuming 500 calories a day. No excersize is required. You may walk for 30 minutes a day but if you do more you have to take in more calories and more drops. Is working out more worth the food? lol Hmmm, guess I will find out soon. There is a whole bunch of rules and restrictions to follow. It really is going to be interesting because I have been eating and doing whatever I want, well for majority of my adult life. However, I need the rules and discipline because I need the weight gone!! Im counting on you, will you help me get thru this and slap my wrist when I mess up? Do you want to join me? I need a buddy! Let me know!!

The Adventures of Potty Training!

Ryan had a really hard time understanding the whole potty process. I bought pretty much everything on the market to assist with the potty training. We did stickers, candy, decorated the potty chair, the potty watch. THE WORKS!! You name it and we probably tried it! He was always wearing pull-ups as a backup in case there was an accident. That way it would be easier to clean up. One day I decided to be brave and go without the pull-ups. We only had a couple of accidents. I would get him up in the morning and immediately take him to the bathroom.  Then from then on if he went I would take him every thirty minutes if he didn't go that first time I would take him every thirty minutes. Whether there was a day with an accident or not he eventually knew that he was not a baby anymore and we have to use the potty. I think our 'trick" was getting rid of the pull-ups. I do want to say that if your child does not care if he or she is wet then they are not ready to be potty trained. It took a good 6 months for me to realize that Ryan is just not ready because he just didn't care if he is wet or not! You really have to make it fun for your toddler! If you have a boy, have him try going outside. My son loved that and still does to this day.  The hardest part for mom is being patient. So hang in there and just remember he or she will learn it eventually just give it time! Hope this helps!
